About Me

Mrs. Crigger's LEAD Math Class: My name is Christie Crigger and I will be your child's LEAD Math teacher this year. I have been teaching for sixteen years. I am married to Jeremy Crigger. We have a daughter, Caroline, who is in the 3rd grade at Shades Cahaba. Mathematics is my passion; I am committed to helping each one of my students develop a love, respect, and appreciation for mathematical concepts. Students will focus on understanding the relationships between numbers and finding a variety of ways to solve a problem. They will play games, explore tools, and engage in meaningful conversations. This will help to create critical thinkers who can solve real-world problems. I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach at all three Homewood Elementary schools and looking forward to a fantastic year!
